FMT Model 500

Here is a rifle that has been in development and field-testing over the past 4 years. This is the FMT Model 500 – 50 BMG offered in single shot or 5 round detachable box magazine. This is an in line rifle with a massive 2 inch outside diameter bull barrel in chrome molly or stainless steel, fluted or not, your choice and fully floated. Even with this big barrel the total weight is 28 lbs. The muzzle break is from a 20mm lottie rifle scaled down to 50 BMG and is billet steel that provides excellent recoil compensation. My 13 year old son shoots this rifle and enjoys this with a gleam in his eye. The recoil of this rifle is consistently within 3lbs of a 12 gage shot gun firing super X slugs. This rifle has the same grip as the FMT 30 and is removed by a rear bolt by 50 case and front fixed pin. When the butt stock is removed the bolt slides out the side and carrier out the back. At 1000 yards no engine block is safe with one shot.
